I just purchased my first HAI flat iron. I've had two Babyliss irons in the past and although they heat to almost the same temperature as the HAI, there is no comparison in how well they straighten my hair. There's a noticeable difference in the quality of the hair straightener. So far so good!

I loved it until it blew out, I had it for 3yrs. Was vacation in spain ,and well the outlets are so powerfull,even the adapter blew up. It's worth buying I miss it. I am planning to buy another Hai, but don't know which one should I buy.

I do not understand how this item gets such great reviews when most consumers are complaining about the cord shorting out after 2 years. Ease of use? that's a given it's a flat iron!
