flatirons.com wants you happy with your purchase.  Our satisfaction guarantee ensures you get the best Hair Tool for you.  We gladly accept returns on any Hair Tools returned within 30 days of purchase, which meet the following:

• Hair Tools must be in tact, complete, in original manufacturers packaging, and in brand new/un-used condition.
• Any returns must have a RMA# (Return Merchandise Authorization) which is obtained via email:  returns@flatirons.com
• Due to hygienic standards, wet lines and products are non returnable or exchangeable.

REFUNDS

Refunds are credited to the original method of payment.  There is a 10% return processing fee.  
Please note:

• returns/exchanges may take up to 10 business days (from date of receipt) to process. 
• Shipping fees are non refundable. For items received after 30 days from purchase, you will receive your refund solely in form of an online credit. 

NOTE: shipping costs will only be refunded if the return is a result of our error.

OBTAINING AN RMA

Please email returns@flatirons.com.  In order to expedite your process, include:

1. Order number
2. Full name on the order and billing address on the order
3. Your phone number and best time to reach you
4. Reason for return
5. If you are requesting an exchange, please include the desired exchange product name and item#

Please expect up to 3 business days to receive your RMA.  You will also receive the return address along with your RMA#

RETURNING YOUR PACKAGE

Please clearly place your RMA# on the outside of the shipping box.  If possible, please re-use the original shipping box and packing materials to carefully secure your merchandise.  Use a traceable method of shipping as we are not responsible for packages until safely accepted.

MANUFACTURES WARRANTY

Because customer satisfaction is most important to us, we will honor the manufacturer warranty and replace the item for you. This will eliminate your inconvenience of contacting the manufacturer directly. Please note, this is not a refund or exchange, but aHairTools.com courtesy service of facilitating your manufacturers warranty so you do not have the hassle!

The warranty fees are as follows:

• The Continental US (excluding Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico) - 10%
• Canada: 39.95 (US$)
• Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico and countries outside the Continental US and Canada will be charged the appropriate freight rates.

Most manufacturer warranties are 1 year. The exceptions are listed below:

• Enzo Milano - lifetime warranty

• HAI Elite - 3 Year Limited Warranty

• CHI Farouk Systems Inc, offers a guarantee of one (1) year from date of purchase against defects caused by faulty material or workmanship. Not covered by the guarantee are steel parts, plastic parts, flex cord as well as damages caused by improper handling.
